A major extension to the existing Hospice building was undertaken, creating seven new comfortable rooms with attached ensuites.

Features include a stained glass window to a quiet area and roof glazing to a central hallway. The existing building was completely gutted and re built to accommodate a new entranceway and reception area, kitchen, offices, meeting room and lounge area. This was all carried out whilst the Hospice was operational throughout.

Construction consisted of on ground concrete slab, light timber framing with coloursteel roofing. The extrerior walls were lightweight aerated concrete panels attached to the wall framing with a plaster system over. Double glazed aluminium windows were used throughout.

The existing building was plastered and re-roofed to match the new extension.
